In the middle of a city lived a man, now this man was no ordinary man, he was a man with a plan. This plan was so extreme it took years to perfect, it was so bad, so evil, so mad, that no-one belived this man with a plan.
[[What plan?]]His plan was to create something that could destroy the whole world, a machine so deadly, so horrible, so malicious that everyone did not believe him.
*I'm going to prove them all wrong*
*This will work, I know it will*
[[His plan]]His plan was to make a robot; not just any robot, a killer. This robot could kill millions in just one flick of a finger. This robot could jump to the moon with ease. This robot could freeze the whole planet with one icey breath. This robot was the apocalypse.
[[The Robot]]The robot was pure white, with long jointy fingers and a huge structure. lanky but strong. So, so strong. With red eyes and thick legs. With thin arms and a tiny mouth. A mouth that could not smile, could not make a noise, just open and close.
All it knew was destruction, demolition and death
[[continue|trapped]]The robot has never seen any other being execpt its inventor. It knew nothing of the outside world apart from what it has been taught, rage and death, to break and kill, to hate and obliterate. It has only seen the insides of the massive house of which its master owns. Full of labs and test tubes.
[[continue|let free]]So one day its creature arrives home.
**"Today is the day"**
**"This is the day I prove them all wrong"**
He starts to cackle and cackle
**"Time to open the doors"**
[[Doors open]]The huge doors opened with a loud bang as the cackle of the man continues, the sound travels past the doors. Heads turn and people yell.
**"Take that you miserable creatures! You said I could not do it! You always turned me down! You never Believed me! Well I have proved you wrong! Say goodbye to your friends and family as you have little time left!"**
[[coninue|release]]The robot adventures out into the world full of plastic and metal, grey and black, misery and defeat.
He executes the plan.
[[continue|demolish]]The robot rips up lamposts, kicks through houses and freezes ponds. Its red eyes are full of fire, it's finally doing what it is meant to do. Perform the man's plan. Show the world what its inventor has created.
[[continue|people]]People scream and run, yell and dash, shout and dart. They were know match for the robot. It was too strong; no-one could defeat it, the people were helpless!
[[continue|fight back]]People were fleeing as the robot punched and punched, over and over. Destroying houses and aparment flats, ponds and lakes, telephone poles and brooms.
As all the people ran, there stood a young child.
[[continue|the flower]]The child stood in the middle of the street, neither moving or scared. They just stood there, staring at the giant robot, and the robot stared back
[[continue|true flower]]The child lifted their hands, revealing a small peony flower, its pastel pink petals shining in the sunlight. This was the first ever colour that the robot had ever seen.
[[continue| peace]]The robot felt peace, they felt no reason to fight, no reason to kill, or hurt, or destroy. They just felt peace. All the things the man has ever taught him was swept away by the wind. They felt Free.
[[continue|ruined]]The robot leaned down towards the child
**"What are you doing?"**
Screamed the man
**"This is not apart of the plan! You're ruining the plan!"**
But the robot did not listen
[[coninue| passed the flower]] The child handed the robot the flower
**"This is a peony"**
**"This flower symbolises peace"**
[[continue|taken]]The robot stood up with flower in hand, the roots started to weave in and out of the robot, twisting and turning as the walked back to the house he has always known.
[[continue|destroyed]]The robot did what it was always meant to do. Destroy.
[[continue|house]]They broke the house piece by piece, brick by brick, kick by kick; they did not let go of the flower. The house crumbled down to dust as the robot stood there.
[[continue|no longer]]No human would have been able to guess what happened next. The robot fell their knees, no longer being able to continue as they had no need for their mission anymore.
[[continue| sleep]]The robot lay down and curled into a little ball, asleep.
[[continue|in the city]]In the middle of the city slept a robot, covered in peony flowers and moss, dreaming of birds in flight and and flowers blooming. The robot was happy. The robot was free.
